The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus told about the arrest of several dozen people who participated in a public rehearsal at the Ogonyok recreation center in the village of Sokol on Saturday, February 13. This was reported in the department's Telegram channel. According to the publication, the reason for the detention was the violation of the procedure for organizing and holding mass events. “Last night, police officers stopped an unauthorized mass event using bchb symbols (white-red-white symbols used by the opposition - Gazeta. Ru): under the guise of a musical party,” the text says. It notes that the party was attended by "activists of the destructive telegram channels." The publication clarified that a total of 68 people were detained, including minors. In respect of their parents, a check was organized "on the fact of their failure to fulfill their responsibilities for raising children." At the moment, 10 people have already been released, the proceedings are ongoing with the rest. Earlier it became known that the police detained almost 70 people near Minsk.
