The editorial staff of Passion.ru decided to ask a specialist everything about Alisa Kazmina's illness.
In mid-January 2020, in response to the constant reproaches from fans that she was too carried away with plastic surgery and the achievements of cosmetology, the ex-wife of football player Andrei Arshavin admitted that she was struggling with a serious autoimmune disease, which, together with prolonged stress and severe divorce, led to such dramatic changes in her appearance - a previously blooming woman has become almost unrecognizable. We decided to find out from a professional what is hidden behind the phrase "autoimmune necrosis", and whether it is possible in this disease to resort to face correction with fillers and other cosmetic procedures.

The introduction of a filler can beautify the face, but under certain conditions there is a risk of occurrence and undesirable phenomena. There may be several reasons: an allergic reaction to the drug, the presence of an undetected somatic pathology, as well as banal ARVI AND ARI, which can lead to edema of the drug in the tissues and thereby disfigure the face.
Autoimmune diseases can also lead to undesirable consequences. For this reason, with an established diagnosis and exacerbation of the process, it is strictly contraindicated to inject fillers, since even in a healthy body, this injection technique causes a response, and in the case of autoimmune diseases, it can be extremely unpredictable and very dramatic.

It should be noted that the presence of an autoimmune disease is not a reason for refusing to inject beauty, when the process is controlled and the patient receives adequate therapy, and the disease is in remission - in this situation, there are no contraindications to the introduction of fillers. In any case, in each specific situation, the decision is made not only by the cosmetologist and necessarily with the participation of a specialized specialist. Unfortunately, patients sometimes deliberately do not talk about the presence of pathology because of the desire to be more beautiful and younger. However, withholding information can lead to dramatic consequences, primarily for those who withhold information.
The ex-wife of footballer Andrei Arshavin, Alisa Kazmina, claims that she has been diagnosed with such a disease as "autoimmune necrosis". I would like to tell you in a little more detail what it is. In medicine, it is known as McCune-Albright syndrome, or polyosseous form of fibrous dysplasia. Autoimmune necrosis is an extremely rare disease characterized by skeletal lesions, skin hyperpigmentation and hyperfunctioning endocrinopathies. It is a mutation in the GNAS gene that leads to hyperactivity in target tissues and a wide phenotype of clinical signs that differ in severity and age of onset. Because of this, human immunity begins to react negatively to its own tissues, because lymphocytes take their proteins for foreign ones and, in fact, kill them.

The reasons for the appearance of autoimmune necrosis can be different: gene mutations, the presence of infection, prolonged use of certain medications (for example, drugs for oncology), chronic diseases, and even physical effects (trauma, radiation, radiation).
It is not difficult to determine the presence of an autoimmune disease; it can be detected by the presence of special antibodies in the human body. Most often, women suffer from it, so some doctors have come to the conclusion that hormonal levels affect the course of the disease.
One of the most important questions that literally everyone worries about in recent days: can fillers cause autoimmune necrosis? Various injections or exposure to pathogenic microorganisms are certainly among the environmental factors that can cause the onset of the disease or exacerbation of the existing one. However, it is worth noting that in this case it will manifest itself at an early stage and it can be cured. Skin color is considered the main symptom: with necrosis after fillers, the skin turns pale or becomes a gray-blue tint. It is also accompanied by painful sensations at the injection site and bruising.
Can fillers be injected during illness? Any intervention (other than treatment) during the course of the illness can aggravate it or make it chronic. In case of autoimmune necrosis, injecting fillers is useless: it will not improve the condition of the skin, but it can intensify the disease. However, if a person has a stable remission, the disease was defeated at an early stage, there are no contraindications and the consequences of the disease are minimal, then fillers are not prohibited from doing the procedure.
How to treat the disease Today, necrosis is successfully treated with antibiotic therapy, followed by plastic surgery if necessary. But if the necrosis is complicated or has a special shape, the first step in treatment will be the presence of a stable remission, and only after that one can think about plastic surgery. Treatment must be carried out very carefully and at once by several specialists: an immunologist, an ENT doctor, a maxillofacial surgeon, a plastic surgeon. It is important to strictly follow all the instructions and appointments of specialists. Do not forget that self-medication will only aggravate the problem, therefore, if a disease is detected, it is necessary to consult a specialist.
