The new administrative regulations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on the issuance and replacement of Russian passports came into force. Now citizens of the Russian Federation will not be able to retouch and process photographs for passports.
- It is not allowed to provide a photograph of a citizen with an edited image in order to improve the appearance of the person depicted or its artistic processing, - the document says.
The regulations noted that the photo should "reliably display" the face of the citizen. Do not use colored contact lenses for the picture. You can take pictures with glasses without tinted glasses, while the frame should not cover your eyes. Passport photos cannot be taken in uniforms, outerwear and scarves that cover part of the face.
The headdress can only be left in the photo for religious reasons. In addition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs requires that the document uses a photo that corresponds to the person's age on the day of application. The picture can be black and white or color, reports "Rossiyskaya Gazeta".
