Employees of the Migration Department of the Russian OMVD for the Penza District arrived in the village. Zasechnoye of the Penza region to 86-year-old Maria Chesnokova. There was a special occasion: in a solemn atmosphere, the woman was handed a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation. In honor of the joyful event, police officers presented my grandmother with flowers and a box of chocolates. Maria Vasilievna was born in the USSR, her children were born here, but then the woman moved to the Lugansk region of the Ukrainian SSR. The daughter of an elderly woman, Elena Kuplyushova, decided to take her parent to her. In October 2020, she applied to the migration department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Penza District so that her mother would receive citizenship of the Russian Federation. An elderly woman walks poorly and sees practically nothing. Employees of the Department for Migration of the Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs went to meet her, went to her house and filled out all the necessary documents. The decision to accept the citizenship of the Russian Federation was made as soon as possible. Now the former citizen of Ukraine returned to her historical homeland and became a full citizen of the Russian Federation. From her overwhelming emotions, the grandmother was moved to tears. In turn, Elena Kuplyushova expressed her deep gratitude to the police officers for their assistance in resolving all issues and handed them flowers.
