An elderly resident of Samara became ill and fainted, which is why her granddaughter and ambulance doctors came to her aid. The paramedic explained that the pensioner needs to be hospitalized. According to a relative of the victim, they were sent from one medical facility to another, and they were in different parts of Samara, before the grandmother was admitted to the city hospital.

After that, relatives were not allowed to visit the elderly patient, arguing this with the COVID-19 pandemic. At the same time, they also failed to contact her, since the woman has poor hearing and does not understand the phone.

According to the granddaughter, on the fifth day she was able to talk to the hospital's health worker and find out information about the well-being of her grandmother. Then the employee told her that "everything is fine with the pensioner," and also told her the diagnosis and treatment.

On the eighth day of hospitalization, the woman and her friend came to pick up a relative from the hospital. When they saw their grandmother, they were horrified.

“She had a swollen finger, broken knees, bruises on her hands, face, and a damaged jaw,” a resident of Samara described.

An elderly relative told what happened to her in the hospital. According to the pensioner, on the first day she wanted to go to the toilet, but could not shout to the medical staff to ask for help. Then she decided to walk to the restroom on her own, but fell from the bunk. When she realized that she could not get up, she decided to get to the toilet on all fours. According to the grandmother's story, the doctors saw her crawling, but passed by.

The granddaughter suggested that she was not allowed into the hospital because they wanted to hide the injuries on the pensioner's body. Taking a relative, she brought her to the emergency room, where an elderly woman was x-rayed. Doctors recorded a severe injury, Lifedd.ru reports.

According to a resident of Samara, she still cannot contact the head physician of the hospital, where her grandmother, who is a labor veteran, received bruises. Journalists also cannot get through to him.
