The 19th International Beauty Contest "Miss Earth-2019" was held last weekend in the Philippine capital - Manila. The winner was the representative of Puerto Rico Nellis Pimentel.
The beauty queen is only 22 years old and she took part in the event to support the world organization of the United Nations. As you know, the winner becomes a representative of the UN Environment Program, cooperates with the World Wildlife Fund and other organizations.
The second place went to a girl from the United States, Emani Davis, and received the title of Miss Air. The third and fourth places were respectively taken by Klara Vavruskova from the Czech Republic and Alisa Manelok from Belarus. They received the titles Miss Water and Miss Fire. A girl from Russia, Anna Baksheeva, was in the top ten finalists. A 17-year-old resident of Chita won the Beauty of Russia-2019 competition this summer.
During the competition, the girls had to parade in dresses decorated with flowers, in swimsuits, in evening dresses and answer questions about the environment.
Anastasia Lebedyuk, who represented Crimea, was also announced in the program.
20-year-old Diana Shibas was sent from Ukraine.
In total, girls from 85 countries of the world took part in the competition.
