People come to the cozy clinic of aesthetic medicine "Time of Beauty", located on Mokhovaya Street not far from the Ritz-Carlton, not only for a "new" nose or breast, but also for a beautiful and renewed skin. The founder of the clinic, Otari Gogiberidze, is sure that plastic surgeons and dermatocosmetologists should work together. If the former change their appearance for the better, then the latter support this result so that the recovery takes less time, and the result is pleasing for a lifetime.

The doctors of the clinic do not believe in the stereotyped standards of beauty - here you may even be refused an operation if it is objectively not necessary.

Otari's co-founder and wife Yana Laputina (see the list of her favorite beauty products here) admits that the cosmetologists of the Vremya krasoty clinic adhere to the same approach. From a young age, you should not overload yourself with beauty injections and hardware procedures - it is better to find out from a qualified specialist what is right for you.

I decided to start small and simple - peeling. The image of Samantha from "Sex and the City" with a sore face after the procedure, of course, was spinning in my head, but discarding all fears, I decided to surrender into the hands of esthetician Tatyana Kulakova and try a two-level all-season peeling from the Promoitalia brand.

Why “all-season”? The procedure can be done even in summer, the main thing is not to forget about SPF protection and not get carried away with sunbathing. In winter, Tatyana also advises against relaxing: the bright sun reflected from the snow is no less dangerous than in the tropics. And even on cloudy days, be sure to wear sunscreen to avoid pigmentation.

Why two-tier? Here, too, everything is simple: the beautician chooses two types of acids, one for a deep action, the other for a superficial one. Nevertheless, the procedure is considered light and delicate, and also goes well with facial cleansing. By the way, peeling prepares the skin for cleansing - as it were, loosens the top layer and makes the subsequent procedure more effective.

After assessing the condition of my skin (the verdict is dehydrated and sensitive, with the first signs of rosacea), Tatiana told me which acids we will use. For superficial peeling, apply almond - it is well tolerated by sensitive skin, and for deep peeling - pyruvic.

The latter penetrates into the deeper layers of the epidermis, but does not cause dryness and has an anti-inflammatory effect. Having finally thrown the image of Samantha out of my head, she said: "Let's get started!"

Tatiana cleansed the skin and applied a cream to the area around the eyes - to protect against aggressive acids and a neutralizer. We started with a deep peeling - it is applied not with a brush, but with gloved hands, and literally rubbed into the skin. Thanks to its oily texture, it is almost completely absorbed, but does not penetrate too deeply - this process is easily controlled. The beautician did not hold it for too long - three minutes for the first time was quite enough. In general, peeling, like many other cosmetic procedures, is recommended to be done as a course - each time you can increase the exposure time and keep it on the skin for up to 10 minutes.

Tatiana warned about a possible tingling and tingling sensation, but there were no unpleasant sensations, even when we applied a neutralizer, I did not feel absolutely nothing. This spray stopped the action of the first acid, and the beautician applied another - almond. It was also kept for several minutes, and then everything was washed off and the cream was applied.

I looked at myself in the mirror and exhaled - no redness or spots, only smooth, as if polished skin, which literally "breathed" after the procedure.

Tatyana warned that in a couple of days the face may peel off a little - this will start the renewal process. To help me - nourishing masks and moisturizing serums, which will help the skin to recover faster. But there are almost no restrictions: on the same day you can apply makeup, but it is better to do it with clean brushes. That is why peeling is done even "on the way out" - a slight lifting effect, an even tone and natural radiance will appear immediately. But you shouldn't go to a solarium in the first two weeks - there is a risk of getting age spots. Even after regular cleansing, you need to allow the skin to recover, so it is not recommended to do these procedures before a vacation.

If you also want to try a two-level peel, here are a few facts that will come in handy:

Two-level peeling suitable for all skin types

Peeling is really considered universal, because acids are selected individually - based on the type and condition of your skin. Almond and pyruvic acids are ideal for those with sensitive skin, salicylic and glycolic acids are more aggressive and are suitable for normal, oily and problem skin.

Any peeling is best done as a course

Light peels, like this one, are done in a course up to 6-8 times once a week. The stronger the peeling, the longer the recovery will take, therefore aggressive peels are done with an interval of 10-14 days.

After peeling, it is not recommended to wash your face for a day.

This is especially true for peeling using salicylic and pyruvic acids. Water can intensify their action, and as a result we get burned. But if you have a long trip ahead of you on public transport, and the acids were chosen more delicate, it is better to cleanse the skin of impurities - for example, using a hydrophilic oil.

It is not recommended to use products with acids after peeling.

Now acids are frequent heroes of the composition of foams for washing and tonics, and you can use them even all year round, the main thing is not to take them with you on vacation to hot countries. After peeling, it is better not to use such products for several days, but rely on nourishing and moisturizing the skin.

A week has passed since the peeling, and I am not overjoyed at the smoothness of my skin - after all, homemade rolls and exfoliating masks will never replace a professional procedure. I switched from a dense foundation to a translucent BB cream and put on matting powder - let the skin glow and glow with health. I also checked the effect on my husband: he, of course, did not go into details, but admitted that I “freshened up” - I considered it a compliment and immediately planned a second peeling at the “Time of Beauty” clinic in order to meet the renewed spring.
