MOSCOW, March 20 - RIA Novosti. A student from Belfast (UK) became addicted to sunburn after a vacation in Turkey. Her skin is now so dark that it has become a pretext for accusations of racism, reports The Sun.
According to 22-year-old Hannah Tittensor, her passion for tanning began back in 2015 after a vacation that saw her skin darker as a result of sun exposure.
"Tanning makes my skin tone so much better," Hannah says.
Also, the girl, together with her boyfriend, who is engaged in bodybuilding and considers a tan necessary for himself, makes melatonin injections. This medication helps in discoloration of the skin, but has side effects such as fatigue and loss of appetite.
Not all users of social networks, where the girl uploads her photos, approve of her hobby. "People are attacking me," Hannah says, adding that the accusations of racism especially increased after she made herself "African braids."
The British woman does not deny that her love for the sun has turned into an obsession, but emphasizes that it is difficult for her to assess whether her tan is too strong, since she sees herself every day and is used to reflection in the mirror.
