More than a hundred plastic surgeries to restore the shape of the breast after removal of malignant neoplasms are performed annually by the Nizhny Novgorod Oncological Dispensary. This is reported by the regional ministry of health.
As the chief physician of the regional clinical oncological dispensary Sergei Gamayunov said, at present, attention is paid not only to oncological effectiveness, when doctors achieve victory over the disease, but also to obtain the highest possible cosmetic results.

If earlier patients had to go to a large federal medical center, now such operations are carried out in an oncological dispensary on a stream within the framework of the compulsory health insurance system, Gamayunov explained.
