The interior still lacks coziness, and multi-textured plastic frankly spoils the impression of the interior. At the same time, the car is spacious, the seats are really comfortable, and in the dark, everything you need pleases with the presence of backlighting.

The maximum power is 113 hp. the motor develops at 5,500 rpm, and the maximum torque of 152 Nm shows at 4,000 rpm.

The claimed acceleration time to hundreds for the version with a variator is 12.2 seconds. In our tests, it turned out at best 12.5 seconds, which is generally not bad and practically corresponds to the declared one.

The car rides surprisingly well - confidently and quickly. Sound insulation, unexpectedly good for this class, adds comfort. Korean competitors of a similar price segment were not even close by this indicator. The suspension is tough, but impenetrable. Handlebar feedback is precise and clear.

The motor with the variator is in a good bundle. Yes, he will not give you the pleasure of sharp acceleration from a traffic light, but is it necessary? In all other respects, no problem at all. Softly, smoothly, most importantly - quietly (at low engine speeds it is not audible at all), on the track, too, there are no problems with overtaking. In general, the car has clearly improved both in the general salon and in driving comfort.

Fuel - 92nd gasoline. The declared consumption is 7.4 liters in the combined cycle. In fact, it is, of course, larger. During the test, we got about 7-7.5 on the highway, 9 in mixed mode, purely around the city in traffic jams of about 11-12, depending on the number of traffic jams.

The most paradoxical thing about this car with the "Cross" prefix is that all the crossover goes into the exterior, in particular, into the plastic edging. Compared to the usual Vesta station wagon, the Vesta SW Cross version travels about the same on the highway, and even worse off-road than the Vesta SW. Due to the significantly larger wheels, it is more difficult to turn the steering wheel, and the car shakes more, it rides harder and allows more impacts.

I note that after the changes in two years - the trunk of the Lada Vesta SW Cross began to close easier and smoother, the doors also close and open better than before. The ergonomics in the cabin have changed for the better, even the cup holders have become more comfortable.

The Lada Vesta SW Cross is available in a very large number of options. There are three engine variations of one - 1.6 to 106 hp. (5-speed manual only) 1.6 to 113 hp (CVT only) and 1.8 at 122 hp. (again only 5-speed manual). The range of prices is from 906,000 to 1,107,000 rubles.

Let me summarize. As a result of all the updates, AvtoVAZ got a great car for the city. There was a convenient box, a high-torque engine, all the advantages of the body that were present before and the richness of the equipment remained. The main disadvantage is the high price (more than a million for the "Lada" - well, it's expensive, whatever one may say).
