Roszdravnadzor in the Kursk region analyzed the results of monitoring the price availability of medicines from the list of vital medicines in pharmacies and hospitals in the region for October 2020.
The dynamics of retail prices in pharmacies in relation to September showed an increase of 0.7%, and in relation to October 2019, the growth was 5%. In the Central Federal District, the growth in prices for VED drugs for the year amounted to 3.8%, and in Russia as a whole - 3.6%.
The highest growth in the Kursk region for the year was shown by prices for vital medicines of domestic production in the price category up to 50 rubles (8.9%), as well as domestic drugs costing from 50 to 500 rubles (8.3%). The minimum price increase was recorded for imported drugs in the category from 50 to 500 rubles (0.7%) and for imported drugs over 500 rubles (1.1%).
Unfortunately, there is a small list of drugs among the essential drugs. The rise in the cost of antivirals, a significant part of antibiotics and a number of other drugs that are not included in the LIV group was noticed more significant this fall.
