The flash mob was initiated by Twitter user from Japan Hcupadman. She showed how she can put a glass of tea on her chest and drink from it, while continuing to work on the computer.
Hcupadman's post went viral with over 70,000 likes and retweets. Many other users also began to publish similar videos and photos showing how they hold drinks on their chest.
Most often, they drank Asian bubble tea without hands, so the challenge was called the Hands-Free Bubble Tea challenge or Tapioca challenge in honor of the tapioca starch that is part of this tea.
Most of the participants in the challenge were girls, but there were also men.
Some preferred not to be photographed, but to publish their drawings.
