The complaint about the hospice "House with a lighthouse", after which the organization began an unscheduled check, turned out to be false - law enforcement officers did not find traces of violations of drug use, said the head and founder of the foundation, Lidia Moniava. It was also found that the appeal was written even before the hospice received medicines - the first purchase took place on September 30, and the law enforcement officers were written a day earlier.

According to Kommersant, the complaint about the hospice was received on September 29. At that moment, the organization had already received permission for the circulation and use of narcotic drugs, but had not yet carried out the procurement. The first funds were received on September 30th. According to the results of the check, it turned out that the norms on circulation were not violated, the only problems were revealed in the registration of medicines.

The experts noted that the court should not terminate the hospice's activities due to the identified violations. "The hospice immediately corrected all violations, conducted an internal internal investigation, brought the perpetrators to disciplinary responsibility, and organized training for nurses."- emphasized Anastasia Zhdanova, head of the legal department of the Center for Palliative Care of the Moscow Healthcare Department, expert of the Region of Care project of the All-Russian Popular Front (ONF).

The head of the Human Rights Council under the President, Valery Fadeev, also said that the hospice should not be closed as a result of the incident. “As far as I understand, these violations are not very serious, and moreover, they are recognized by the hospice staff themselves. <…> In the end, if the violations are confirmed and you have to pay a fine, the main thing is that the hospice is not closed. "- he clarified.

Earlier, Moniava said that the employees of the main department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the control of drug trafficking arranged a "surprise check" on the hospital. According to Moniava, in the complaint received by law enforcement officers, she was accused of “pumping” one of the patients of the clinic with narcotic drugs in excess of the norm. Now the medical institution faces either a fine from 200 thousand to 400 thousand rubles, or a suspension of activities.

The House with a Lighthouse Foundation was registered on March 27, 2018. Its founders are Nyuta Federmesser and Lydia Moniava. The Foundation helps terminally ill children and young adults under 25 by supporting children's hospices in Moscow and the Moscow Region. The fund's budget for 2020 is 900 million rubles. 20% of the expenses are borne by the state, and 80% are made up of donations from ordinary people. Families of sick children receive help absolutely free.
