Unkempt overgrown bangs, which the network called "curtains" because of its length, has become a new trend in the fall of 2020. This is reported by the portal The Cut.

According to the publication, at the show of the Prada fashion house, which took place as part of Milan Fashion Week, models walked the catwalk with regrown bangs of various shapes. It is noted that the hair styling at the event was done by the star hairdresser Guido Palau - he set the fashion for the described hairstyle.

So, for example, during the show at one of the models, the length of the front strands of hair reached the lips, while they were laid along the contour of the face, and in the other, they were braided into small braids. Another contestant's straight bangs covered her eyes.

In addition, models with overgrown bangs also posed in ads for the luxury brand Celine, and in February, Japanese stylist Natsumi Ebiko appeared with her in public.

Fashion experts associate the return of "strange bangs" in fashion with the coronavirus pandemic. According to them, in the future, people may not be able to use hair stylers, in connection with which they will have to cut their hair at home. In addition, the bangs that cover the eyes "protects the human psyche from the horror that occurs outside."
