20-year-old cosplayer Lucia from Sweden takes care of elderly people during the day and turns into a living doll in the evening. As a teenager, she became interested in alternative fashion when she watched the films of Tim Burton.

She collected gothic dolls, at the age of 14 she went through the "emo phase", cut her hair and dyed it black, which shocked her parents. In the end, she came up with a puppet image.

When Lucia turned 15, she became interested in Japanese culture, especially street fashion.

"People were already used to the fact that I looked strange, so they didn't care that I started to look strange differently."

“I've always liked girly and cute things, but there was a time when I thought it was too childish and I shouldn't even look at pink. I am glad that I survived this and came to understand that there is nothing wrong with that, and cute little things do not make you weak."

“Now I mostly work. There is nothing special about my daily routine: I wake up, wash, eat breakfast, go to work, then return home and have dinner. In the evenings, I usually watch TV shows, play and talk with the guy."

"When I'm not working, I change clothes, paint and take photos for social networks."

According to the girl, she can “turn into a doll” in just 20 minutes.

“My style is what I have been striving for for many years. You might think that he hasn't changed since I was 15, but then I looked completely different. At first I was inspired by the Fairy kei style, then I grew out of it and I liked other Japanese styles: roma gyaru and himekaji. My look is my own makeup style, contact lenses that make my eyes look bigger, and cute clothes. I have never done any plastic surgery."

Not everyone likes Lucia's appearance. On social media, strangers sometimes write angry comments to the girl.

“People stare at me when I go out as a doll, but I'm used to it. Some are rude, point fingers and laugh. Some people even think my style is a strange way of expressing sexuality or something. But mostly people say that I look pretty. And although I know that not everyone likes my image, I respect their opinion as long as they keep it to themselves."

“The coolest reaction kids have is when they point at me and tell their parents that I look like a princess. It seems to me that it helped me find myself."

“I want to tell you to try new things and do what you like. People will judge you, but you can handle everything by doing what you love."
