The American woman, who underwent 47 cosmetic procedures in an attempt to gain natural beauty, was honored with a Guinness Book of Records. According to the Daily Mirror, she stated that she did not want to be known as a member of the "freak circus".
Since 1987, Cindy Jackson has gone under the knife of a plastic surgeon 14 times. In 2005, the woman got into the Guinness Book of Records and was awarded the title of the person who survived the largest number of cosmetic procedures. Jackson claims that since then she has done several more procedures, but does not want to advertise them and hopes that the title will be transferred to the new record holder.
Jackson says that because people think of Guinness World Records events as a "freak circus," she doesn't belong there. “I've always strived for a natural look,” she says. "From my point of view, if the result of the operation does not look as natural as possible, it is a failure." The woman believes that the Brazilian Rodrigo Alves could become the new owner of her title.
In 2019, it was reported that Alves underwent 48 plastic surgeries. Among other things, he installed an implant that mimics cubes on the press, did liposuction and Botox injections. In 2016, a man was admitted to hospital due to necrosis caused by an unsuccessful nose reshaping operation. After the incident, he vowed to no longer resort to plastic surgery and insured his body for a million pounds, but a year later he took up his old one again.
