Only those with COVID-19 as the main cause of death are included in the official statistics of the deaths from the coronavirus. This was announced by the Minister of Health of the Kaliningrad Region, Alexander Kravchenko, at a press briefing on Tuesday, November 17.
According to the official, the discrepancies with the Rosstat figures are due to the fact that information is submitted to the operational headquarters after the commission confirms the patient's cause of death from coronavirus infection.
