The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, called the sanctions imposed by the United States and Great Britain "moronism" and "hypocrisy." According to Kadyrov, the sanctions will in no way affect either the republic or its development. He noted that the restrictions will still "haunt" the United States of America, which will become a black page in their history.

«America began to fight sports, with wives, children, charities, athletes, horses … This is only one name - «moronism», because nothing more absurd in the history of all mankind has never been», - wrote in his Telegram Kadyrov.

He stressed that the restrictions introduced today will not affect the development of the republic, adding that the sanctions, in principle, "do not interfere" with Chechnya.

«I am not surprised by this event, nor am I afraid. These sanctions have no effect on the Chechen Republic and its development. We have restored the region from the consequences of the actions of international terrorists, we will play football, provide assistance to those in need, build, revive, enjoy life»- said Kadyrov.

The head of Chechnya also suggested that the United States and Great Britain are coordinating the sanctions lists, since there are "no coincidences" in them. «Apparently saving paper»- said the politician.

«I seriously thought about applying to the Guinness Book. The record will be named «The largest number of people and organizations of one republic included in the sanctions lists»… With each new sanction, breaking this record will be harder and harder. Unless, of course, the Guinness Book itself is not included in the Magnitsky list»- he shared.

The imposed restrictions will "backfire" on the United States, which will become a black page in the history of the state, summed up the head of Chechnya.

Earlier on December 10, the United States imposed sanctions against three Russian citizens and six companies. The restrictions, in particular, include the Akhmat Kadyrov Foundation, the Akhmat club, the Akhmat fight club and the Chechen Mineral Waters. With regard to the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, the wording was changed: according to the US Treasury Department, he runs "an organization of so-called Kadyrovtsy, which, according to the department, is involved in" serious human rights violations. " The black list also includes wrestler Timur Dugazaev (“Kadyrov’s representative in Europe”), Ziyad Sabsadi (plenipotentiary representative of Chechnya under the President of the Russian Federation) and Satish Simar (trainer of Kadyrov’s horses).

The UK also imposed sanctions against the speaker of the Chechen parliament, Magomed Daudov, the former head of the Arguna police, Ayub Kataev, and the first deputy minister of the Interior Ministry for the Chechen Republic, Apti Alaudinov. Their accounts will be frozen, and entry into the country will be banned. London suspects them of involvement in human rights violations.
