Young Chinese women in the #GirlsBodyhairCompetition flash mob on the country's largest social network Weibo decided to fight for the title of the hairiest. According to the Daily Mail, the organizer of the competition promised the winner 88 yuan (a little over 800 rubles).
The competition was started by a Chinese blogger under the pseudonym Shen Dian Tong Ji Lin, who has over 10 million fans. He urged users to feel free to post pictures of hair on their arms and legs.
Many girls responded to the blogger's offer and began to post a photo. One of them noted that the pictures she saw allowed her to understand that there is nothing surprising and shameful in the vegetation on a woman's body.
According to the blogger, the idea of a flash mob came to him when one of the fans complained about hairy legs.
“Given that it’s summer in China, many girls wear short sleeves and are worried about the vegetation on their bodies,” he explained.
The organizer offered the three girls, whose photos will receive the most views, cash prizes - 88 yuan (about 800 rubles), 66 yuan (600 rubles) and 55 yuan (500 rubles). No winners have been announced yet.
