The ideals of female beauty are so ephemeral that passing from era to era and from one culture to another, we see a great variety of mutually exclusive standards - from strong and healthy ancient Venuses to weak, miniature Chinese princesses, from pasty Rubens nymphs to haggard decadence in the Twiggy style. Nevertheless, modern scientists have found an answer to what an ideal woman should look like if you listen to the voice of nature, and not changeable fashion trends.

Unexpected findings of American scientists

Researchers from the University of Texas, together with colleagues from Miami and Stuttgart, completed a two-year large-scale study in 2016, the aim of which was to determine the modern ideal of female beauty. To find the most beautiful woman in the world, scientists turned to mathematical calculations, which took into account parameters such as height, weight, age, face contour, breast size, and hip circumference. Even such trifles as the shape of the nose, lips and fingers, the length of the legs, the condition of the hair and nails were not ignored. One of the most important factors determining the final result was also the attractiveness of the female figure in the eyes of men. To find out the preferences of a strong half of humanity, the researchers conducted a wide survey among American men, who, as you know, are most spoiled by the glamorous female images that Hollywood and the media create with the help of special equipment, tricks of makeup artists and graphic programs.

Modern standard

The results of the study came as a complete surprise even for the scientists themselves, not to mention the ambiguous reaction of the mass audience. The most perfect woman in the world turned out to be 38-year-old British actress, TV presenter and model Kelly Brook. Despite the undeniable charm of the star, according to its parameters, according to modern criteria, it belongs to the category of “plus size” models. With a height of 168 cm, Kelly Brook's weight is 65 kg, chest volume is 99 cm, waist circumference is 69 cm, hips are 96 cm. In addition, the model wears shoe size 40. Thus, from a scientific point of view, the figure was recognized as ideal, which women in most cases consider to be plump and in need of correction.

Kelly Brook herself has repeatedly admitted that in childhood she suffered from the ridicule of classmates because of her alleged overweight, and she herself was never completely satisfied with her figure. Nevertheless, contrary to the unspoken laws of the modern modeling business, Kelly Brook remained an apologist for naturalness and never tried to artificially improve something in herself. The model has never resorted to plastic surgery, silicone or botox, has not grown nails or hair. Also, Kelly Brook does not exhaust herself with diets and hours of workouts in the gym, but prefers to make healthy eating and sports an organic part of her life, which brings joy and pleasure.

According to the co-author of the study, Howard Mitens, it was thanks to this fidelity to natural beauty that Kelly Brook was the final choice to become the winner among the most attractive women in the world.

“Women in the fifties of the last century looked much more sexy than many models today. And I dream to be like them! " - emphasized Kelly Brook in her interviews. Faithfulness to herself and her natural parameters did not prevent the model from conquering many men's hearts and in the late 1990s - early 2000s for several years in a row, according to the ratings of popular men's magazines, to enter the top of the sexiest girls in the world. And a recent study proved that even such a powerful "weapon of mass destruction" as the long-term propaganda of artificially created standards of female beauty could not defeat the voice of nature in men, which still makes them prefer curvaceous forms and natural, healthy female beauty.

According to experts, the results of the American study have become an important signal that trends in the world of the fashion industry need significant changes. As the scientists note, the unattainable concept of perfection imposed by gloss has led to the fact that women began to treat themselves badly and ruin their health, bringing themselves to nervous breakdowns and eating disorders. In fact, the example of Kelly Brook clearly proves that in order to be beautiful in the eyes of men, you do not need to go under the scalpel of a plastic surgeon or bring yourself to exhaustion in pursuit of unnatural thinness. It is much more important to stay in harmony with yourself and your body, to love and respect yourself for who you are.
