A new 64-slice computed tomography scanner was installed in City Hospital 4. The modern apparatus allows obtaining a spatial image of internal organs, assessing vascular blood flow, which helps doctors in diagnostics, which means that it will allow a patient to make a clear diagnosis
The tomograph was installed within the framework of the national project “Development of Children's Health Care”. In the context of the coronavirus pandemic, the equipment will be used to diagnose diseases in both children and adults.
The computed tomography room where the tomograph was installed was visited by the Deputy Governor of the Kursk Region Andrei Belostotsky:
“I'm sure this machine will do it. I think she should conduct about 50-60 studies per day."
New deliveries of CT scanners to the Kursk region are expected soon.
