On March 26 at 13:00 the title and crown of the competition winners will be handed over to the first Vice-Miss Moscow-2018. “Tomorrow we will crown the second-place girl, Ksenia Palenova, with an elegant crown, but not our main transitional one, which needs to be repaired. The crown, which we will present tomorrow, will remain with Ksenia forever,”the Directorate of the Beauty Contest said.

On March 21, it became known that the winner of Miss Moscow-2018, Alesya Semerenko, was stripped of her title and crown. Such an incident occurred for the first time in the history of a beauty contest, which has been held since 1994.

According to the organizers, the girl violated the terms of the contract. “The winner of the competition participates in many events throughout the year, most of them are charitable. And for three months after the competition, she did not come to any one ", - said the director of" Miss Moscow "Tatyana Andreeva. She also claimed that Semerenko had broken the crown.

The beauty contest lawyer Pavel Stavitsky said that the former Miss Moscow-2018 should remove all materials on social networks timed to coincide with the Miss Moscow contest. According to him, for failure to comply with obligations, she can be fined 500 thousand rubles.

Semerenko accused the organizers of the competition of libel. She claims that she was not at the events, because she was not invited, and the crown, when she handed it over, was intact. “Broke the crown ?? Are you serious? And they "noticed" it only three months after the final !? I personally took her to the office and I received her safely. And there is video confirmation of this,”the former Miss Moscow wrote on Instagram.

Alesya Semerenko, 24, won in December 2018. During the competition, she managed to bypass 48 participants. The girl came to Moscow from the Krasnodar Territory. According to Vechernyaya Moskvy, Semerenko studied at the Technological University as an economist. She was fond of drawing, sports and psychology and dreamed of opening her own coffee chain.
