After loosening the self-isolation regime, cosmetic surgeons from the UK and America have faced a surge in demand for online consultations. One of the top searches was "nose surgery", or "rhinoplasty", writes the Daily Mail. Experts talked about alternative methods without surgery.
One of them is contouring. Makeup artist Carly Hobbs noted that first you need to apply foundation and concealer, then a creamy bronzer without glitter on those areas that need to be made smaller or slimmer (the wings of the nose and its tip). The result is fixed with a light powder.
Another way is nonsurgical rhinoplasty. In this case, the shape of the nose changes under the influence of injections with various fillers. As a rule, the result lasts from 12 to 18 months. Most often, this method is used to align uneven, curved or bulging noses.
The third option mentioned by the surgeons is the thread lift. The threads do not change their position, unlike dermal fillers, which can move from the desired area. This reduces the risk of blood vessel damage. After some time, the threads completely dissolve. The new shape of the nose can last for about 2 years.
