The actress won a prestigious film festival prize and recorded an emotional video for fans.
The first film in which the star of The Magnificent Century Meryem Uzerli not only played the main role, but also acted as a co-producer, became a triumph at the New York Film Festival of Independent Films in Chelsea. The film "Beehive", about which we recently wrote, received the Grand Prix of the Film Forum and the prize for the best director, and Meryem received the award in the nomination "Best Actress". Overwhelmed with emotions and, by the way, being in the position of Uzerli recorded an appeal to the fans.
I have just been informed that I have received the Best Actress award from the Chelsea Film Festival. Of course, I am very proud of this achievement and thank the jury for highly appreciating my work. I blushed, but I can't see it, because my lips are so … so … so red!

The makeup really turned out to be atypical for Meryem: the emphasis was placed on the lips and executed with the help of a matte lipstick in a rich wine shade. For the eyes, the makeup artist chose light brown shadows, which created the effect of a nude make-up. Whereas usually the performer of the role of Khyurrem Sultan prefers natural makeup or makeup with an emphasis on the eyes.
Fans, however, highly appreciated this image, which is atypical for Uzerli. Recall that the star recently confirmed her second pregnancy. She does not show the changed figure, but sometimes she uploads fresh portraits. Fans of Meryem recently agreed that the actress should be pregnant.
