Stewardesses are, of course, beautiful, constantly smiling girls. But they also have their own professional ailments. It happens that during one flight flight attendants pass with a smile and in heels up to 10 kilometers! Together with constant changes in atmospheric pressure, the load on their pretty legs becomes colossal, which is fraught with varicose veins.
However, these fragile girls have found an effective way to combat this unpleasant disease - lymphatic drainage stockings. The compression hosiery from which they are made evenly distributes pressure to the venous wall. On board the stewardesses are constantly on the move, so they continue to keep in shape upon arrival. Most girls prefer the gym, yoga or Pilates.

All flight attendants unanimously declare that after the flight they cannot imagine their rest without sleep and relaxing procedures. “Seeing a flight attendant on a weekend is awful. The man is half asleep, tired, barely moving. I always want to sleep. Wherever you are, no matter how long you fly. Even if the departure is at 18:00. After all, we need to be at the airport in two hours, which means that at 13:00 we have to leave the house, already assembled,”admits Victoria.
Upon arrival in Asian countries, the girls gladly run for firming and revitalizing massages to local masters. And visiting the spa is generally their favorite pastime. Often, even the airlines themselves provide flight attendants with special coupons for attending cosmetic procedures in different parts of the world.
“In salons, I like to do acid chemical peels for my face. The action of a weak acid solution removes unnecessary skin tissue. You have to walk for a couple of days with slightly pink skin, but then all unnecessary cracks and, like a lizard, peels off in pieces. As a result, the skin becomes soft, like a baby's,”Vika shares her secret with WMJ.ru.
Not only flight attendants, but all passengers are faced with the fact that there is always dry air in the cabin. The skin becomes dehydrated and begins to peel off. The main advice of flight attendants is to drink more pure mineral water. This way, the skin will always remain clean and radiant. In addition, thermal water is excellent for moisturizing - it is also great for refreshing.
“Under makeup I apply the simplest baby cream - perhaps the best face care product. I also don't forget to drink water all the time. We each have our own liter bottle on the flight. We sign them and put them in our lockers,”Vika admitted to WMJ.ru.
An obligatory item is moisturizing creams and face masks - this is the basis for maintaining healthy and beautiful skin of flight attendants.
But stewardesses often refuse tonal creams. They dry out the skin and clog the pores. Therefore, the ideal tone of the girl is created with the help of BB cream. It is based on moisturizing ingredients, and a light nude shade perfectly masks all imperfections.
Flight attendants do not forget about trips to baths and saunas: they have an excellent effect on the skin and best of all cosmetics give the face a radiant look.
About fines, uniforms and standards of appearance
The general impression of the flight attendant's appearance should be given special attention. They are taught to look presentable in specialized training centers. Flight attendants walk on special podiums with mirrors - they acquire the skill to move well in shape. In addition, if an employee has a speck on her skirt, sloppy makeup or vulgar manicure, they can be removed from the flight altogether.

In their image, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. Literally. So that the handkerchief they tie around their neck always has a beautiful shape, they spray it with hairspray and then iron it. So its ends always look clearly in different directions, like starched.
About branded styling
Probably, many people with the word "stewardess" in their head pops up the image of a girl in uniform with a hairdo from a neat bun. Indeed, airlines clearly prescribe styling standards. So, according to the requirements, if the hair length exceeds the level of the collar, it is necessary to make a low bun or a low Greek hairstyle, so-called "donut" or "shell" are also acceptable. Loose hair is allowed only if the girl has a square.
“On board, the styling deteriorates very quickly, the hair begins to stick out in different directions,” Victoria shares with us. - Therefore, everyone pours on themselves a huge amount of varnish, someone uses a gel. I personally always have a varnish with me. Naturally, this deteriorates the hair, so at any free time, on the day or the night before the flight, I apply oil to the ends of my hair - either burdock or castor oil."
The stewardess's credo is to maintain beauty in any free moment. They will always be able to powder the nose or tint with lip gloss.

And although a make-up is required for flight attendants, this does not mean that a girl can go to work with black smoky eyes and false eyelashes. Makeup should be natural and harmonious, in natural peach or pink shades.
“I usually use a Dior foundation, a transparent powder from the same brand for a matte effect, a blush. I can draw light arrows, and, of course, I highlight the eyelashes with mascara. The eyebrows should not be too “oily”, they are always of a natural shade and soften the facial features. For the lips I use a nude pencil or tint. When we have a form in crimson or red colors, we are allowed to red lipstick. Many girls adore her, but it seems to me that this is too much,”the stewardess admits.
And girls are really taught the basics of make-up - they are sent video tutorials in which they tell how to apply tone, shine, powder, blush, shadows, and, most importantly, with what.
About the requirements for manicure
Well-groomed and natural. Airline manicure requirements are just as strict. Therefore, the invariable favorite of all flight attendants remains a jacket or nude tones on the nails.
“A manicure should be of the same tone. It is impossible, as many people like, to make one nail with sequins or rhinestones, the other with a pattern or sparkles. I prefer beige, light pink or coffee colors, not bright or dark. The shape is a rounded square. Long nails are not allowed. And the most inconvenient to work with carts: girls lose their nails only in this way! - Vika shares with WMJ.ru.
By the way, just because of the constant interaction with the carts and the transfer of containers, flight attendants almost always choose gel polish, since ordinary varnish quickly comes off or chipping off.

For the duration of the flight, it is better to give up evening make-up, otherwise you will look like a panda by landing: the shadows will crumble, and the mascara will wear off. Make a simple make-up that's always easy to tweak to look fresh. But do not forget that it is better to have all cosmetics with moisturizing ingredients.
