In September, it became known that 37-year-old Meryem Uzerli was expecting her second child. The actress announced that she will have a daughter in January. The name of the baby's father Meriem then did not name, and the press suggested that it might be Turkish actor Caglar Ertugrul. But later it became known that the chosen one of the star of the "Magnificent Century" was an American who, for the sake of his love, moved to Germany, where Meriem lives.
More recently, the actress told in an interview that she would get married as soon as she felt that she was ready for it. And now, it seems that this time has come: Meryem accepted a marriage proposal from her American boyfriend. The Rusturkey edition reported that the artist planned to go down the aisle in the summer, but the pandemic has made its own adjustments to the plans of the lovers.
“My beloved person proposed to me, and I said yes. I don't want to celebrate a wedding with 20 guests in a pandemic. I need a big holiday,”commented Meryem Uzerli. The actress also asked those who criticize her for pregnancy out of wedlock to take life easier.
Meriem already has a 6-year-old daughter, Lara. The girl's father is businessman Jan Atesh. But he was not ready to take responsibility for the child, and Uzerli left him even before the baby was born. At that moment, she starred in The Magnificent Century and was also forced to leave the project, where she was replaced by Vahide Perchin, who played the role of the mature Khyurrem Sultan.
