Deprived of the title "Miss Moscow-2018" Alesya Semerenko advised girls not to participate in large-scale beauty contests. She wrote about this in her Instagram account.
“Here's a thought for you, young girls who want to enter a major competition. Think thirty times if you are ready! You may not need this at all. Children, career, family - it's much easier than going to war with the whole world”,
Semerenko called on.
The girl noted that in Russia the winners of the beauty contest are treated badly: in her opinion, they become the object of ridicule and gossip. “It is not very important for me whether I will have a title or not. For myself, I have already won nominations and achieved success,”she concluded.
Ales Semerenko was stripped of his title and crown on March 21. Such an incident occurred for the first time in the history of a beauty contest, which has been held since 1994. According to the organizers, the girl violated the terms of the contract.
Later, the director of the Miss Moscow contest, Tatyana Andreeva, reported that Semerenko had broken the crown. She accused the organizers of the competition of libel. The girl claims that she was not at the events, because she was not invited, and the crown, when she handed it over, was intact.
The beauty contest lawyer Pavel Stavitsky said that the former Miss Moscow-2018 should remove all materials on social networks timed to coincide with the Miss Moscow contest. According to him, for failure to comply with obligations, she can be fined 500 thousand rubles.
Alesya Semerenko, 24, won in December 2018. She managed to get around 48 other participants.
