The former wife of Soviet and Russian actor Armen Dzhigarkhanyan Vitalina Tsymbalyuk-Romanovskaya told Komsomolskaya Pravda that the artist's apartment on Arbat Street in the center of Moscow was severely neglected. The woman compared the house to a barn.

“Actually, I lived with him in a one-room apartment for eight years. I have never had such bad conditions before! His apartment on the Arbat was also neglected and looked like a barn,”Tsymbalyuk-Romanovskaya said in response to a reporter's remark that she had bought an apartment with her ex-husband’s money.

The woman said that she was able to buy real estate and a car while working as a theater director. “I was young, I was 21,” Tsymbalyuk-Romanovskaya said about the beginning of her relationship with Dzhigarkhanyan. - For the first eight years, he did not even give me a single gift, there was nothing like that. He was not generous at all. I was happy that we were just dating."

In November, it became known that a three-room apartment in Starokonyushenny Pereulok (Arbat District, Central District of Moscow), once allocated by the capital's government to Dzhigarkhanyan, could become a museum. The fate of the property will be determined by businessman Yuri Rastegin and the actor's second wife Tatyana Vlasova.

Dzhigarkhanyan died at the age of 85 on the morning of November 14. The cause of death of the artist was kidney failure. He was buried at the Vagankovskoye cemetery on November 17.
