It clarifies that 79 cases of COVID-19 infection were registered in Penza, 54 - in the Nizhnelomovsky region, 11 - in Bashmakovsky, nine - in Belinsky, six - in Zemetchinsky, five - in the city of Zarechny and Narovchatsky regions, four each - in Bessonovsky, Spassky and Penza, three each in Shemysheysky and Mokshansky, two each in Kolyshleysky, Luninsky and Issinsky, one each in Vadinsky and Pachelmsky.
"7 thousand 288 people are under observation, 54 thousand 822 people are removed from observation", - added in the text.
It notes that a total of 558 914 studies on COVID-19 were carried out in the region, the total coverage of the population of the Penza region with testing for coronavirus was 39.91%.
According to the Stopkoronavirus.rf website, as of December 18, 2020, 23,485 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in the Penza region since the beginning of the pandemic. 19 thousand 396 patients were discharged. 286 deaths were registered.
