According to the parliamentarian, he felt unwell a few days ago and passed a coronavirus test, which turned out to be positive. Milonov said that for the fifth day he has been in self-isolation in a service apartment.

“Last week I was in the business of delivering groceries - helping doctors and convalescents. I suppose he caught the infection there. I have already received a positive test result”, - Milonov told the agency.

The deputy added that he felt the first symptoms of the disease a few days ago. According to him, he had a fever and lost his sense of smell. Milotov clarified that the disease is mild, but he still decided to isolate himself. "Now I am in self-isolation in a service apartment," - he said.

Earlier, State Duma Chairman Viacheslav Volodin said at a plenary meeting on November 17 that 130 deputies fell ill during the COVID-19 pandemic, of which 28 were hospitalized. The speaker of the lower house urged parliamentarians to shorten the time of their speeches, while noting the inadmissibility of holding a meeting for about 4.5 hours amid the coronavirus epidemic.

According to the headquarters for the fight against coronavirus on November 18, over the past 24 hours, COVID-19 was found in 20,985 Russians. At the same time, a record number of patients with coronavirus infection died in Russia per day - 456. The total number of infected in the country reached 1 991 998.
