Tessa, a resident of Great Britain, is an ordinary woman at first glance. Like any woman, she dreams of staying young and attractive as long as possible. But she chose an extraordinary way for this - she just does not smile. True, her story began "not laughing" not for the sake of beauty.

Once upon a time, Tessa studied at a Catholic school, where the fun of children was not welcomed. Smiles and laughter could be punished. When Tessa finished school, the habit of holding back emotions remained with her.

After that, she also acquired an idol - Marlene Dietrich, and she also did not particularly like to smile in photographs, preferring a detached cold image.

When Tessa turned 30, she realized that there were no mimic wrinkles on her face - unlike her peers. So gradually the Catholic school habit grew into a rejuvenating one.

Tessa is not tempted to smile even during happy events - after the birth of her daughter, on her wedding day or while watching comedies she adores.

But the woman assures that this does not mean that in these moments she is not happy. Simply, in her opinion, the value of a smile is overrated. You don't have to smile to be happy and do good deeds.

By the way, Tessa does not avoid laughing at all. When she's really funny, she opens her mouth and lets the natural "ho-ho-ho" burst out.

Despite her peculiarity, Tessa does not suffer from a lack of male attention or communication problems with others. Very quickly people realize that she is a sympathetic, interesting and easy interlocutor - this replaces a thousand smiles.

But the most important thing in this story, of course, is the question whether the lack of a smile helps Tessa look younger. The audience was divided. Someone says she definitely looks better. And someone, on the contrary, believes that her appearance would suit an older woman. Recall that Tessa is 53 years old.

In our opinion, Tessa looks great - she is a well-groomed, naturally pretty woman. And there are really no wrinkles on her face. But we would not attribute the age to the appearance, what's the point? Age is not only about wrinkles. And age does not in any way oppose attractiveness.
