They worked in covid hospitals, call centers, delivered food to elderly chickens, and brought medicines to patients who were being treated for coronavirus on an outpatient basis. 200 representatives of the We Are Together movement are medical volunteers. Volunteers combined social activities with studies. The headquarters of medical volunteers began to work in the first wave of the pandemic. The volunteer movement is becoming wider. In Rylsk, the first regional branch of the VOD "Medical Volunteers" was opened and officially registered. It included students of the Rila Medical College. A lot has already been done in two months. Volunteers are also working on the basis of the Kursk regional dermatovenerologic center. There is a center for processing data and informing the population about the results of research on coronavirus. Volunteers call patients, each one makes and receives up to 40 calls a day. Volunteers are also working on the basis of "Kurskfarmatsiya". “So far, many Kurdish people are on self-isolation,” says Alexei Gaponov, regional coordinator of the All-Russian public movement “Volunteers-doctors”. “They need our help. In the future, the guys will engage in explanatory work on vaccination issues. After all, the coronavirus will be defeated only after herd immunity is formed. In addition, the volunteers plan to actively participate in the "Oncopatrul" campaign.
