In particular, until this date, at least 30% of employees will be required to switch to remote mode of work. Citizens over the age of 65 and those with chronic illnesses should still stay at home.
Also, the city's leisure facilities for children will be closed until mid-January. Industries, businesses, shops and services will continue to operate. "Thanks to the measures taken, it is still possible to avoid the most difficult spring scenario for the development of a pandemic with the total closure of everything and everyone.", - explained the mayor, the statement was published on his website.
The mayor of the capital indicated that the situation with the coronavirus remains tense. From November 16 to 22, the number of cases of coronavirus pneumonia increased by 2%, the number of hospitalizations - by 3%. "Experts believe that in these conditions there is no need to introduce additional restrictions, but the cancellation of existing measures would be a premature and rash decision."- he noted.
Sobyanin urged citizens to be as careful as possible and not expose their health to unnecessary risks. "By doing so, we are bringing the end of the pandemic closer together."- he concluded.

According to him, the transfer of schoolchildren in grades 6-11 to a remote location did not help stabilize the situation. At the same time, the authorities do not intend to introduce a new lockdown, since the healthcare system is coping with the increased number of cases. The mayor added that the covid pandemic has dealt a serious blow to Moscow's budget.
