Cassidy Valentine, 22, from England, told her story to The Sun.
According to a London resident, in April 2019, representatives of a local clinic approached her and asked her to advertise their services. In return, they offered the girl to pump her lips for free at their establishment, but Valentine refused.
“I didn't want people who followed my blog to think that I was not happy with my appearance. After all, I try to convey to my audience the idea that every person is beautiful in their own way,”explained the British woman.
However, later the Englishwoman admitted that she felt insecure and after a while decided to enlarge her lips. The procedure took only ten minutes and aroused suspicion in the patient, but the doctor was able to convince her that it was normal.
After Valentine left the establishment, her lips began to swell and then turned blue. Then the girl turned to another clinic, where experts explained that an incompetent beautician had pumped filler into her artery. In addition, according to doctors, her lip could fall off if the girl asked for help a little later.
The victim was injected with a substance that breaks down hyaluronic acid, and she recovered. After the incident, the British woman launched a campaign calling on the authorities to prohibit people under 18 years of age from doing this procedure.
In December 2019, a woman pumped fillers into her lips and her gums turned black due to tissue death. As soon as the beautician began the procedure, the patient felt as if a golf ball had been implanted in her lips.
