"No harsh scrubs, dry clay products and film masks!" - such a "verdict" was given to me by a cosmetologist a year ago, having learned that I had the first signs of rosacea. And just like that, an innocent childish rosy cheek turned into redness, inflammation and burning in the sun or after an autumn walk.
Therefore, I am wary of exfoliating products and for polishing I use the time-tested balancing mask with fruit extracts from EGIA - I wrote about it here. But recently she grew bolder and decided that you can use scrubs, the main thing is to choose the right one - not too rude, but not useless either. The product from the Biorinova series is just right for sensitive and dehydrated skin - it polishes and exfoliates without disturbing the hydrolipid balance. The composition contains a cell extract of mallow, which additionally softens the skin and saturates it with vitamins A, B, C and B5.
When I wash off the scrub, it immediately seems that there is a cream on my face - thanks to bisabolol and panthenol for this. At the same time, abrasive particles are well felt on the face, therefore, in the cheeks, I still massage not so actively. After the scrub, the skin becomes smooth and matte-velvety - it will be difficult to resist and not use it more than once a week.

I have very sensitive and thin skin - any attempt at scrubbing ends with redness. It remains to remove dead cells with more delicate means. For example, a scrub from Thalgo. I decided to try it after the stormy delight from the sos-mask, which we talked about here. The texture of the scrub is more like a cream-based cleanser. There are exfoliant particles in the composition, but they are very delicate. If you have an oily or combination skin type, look for something “harsher”, but for a sensitive skin type this is what you need.
After scrubbing, I don't feel the usual dryness and tightness. It's all about the seawater in the composition (Thalgo has been creating products based on marine ingredients for 50 years and knows all about the effect of thalassotherapy on the skin) - it saturates the cells with useful minerals and moisture, like in advertising, without letting it dry out. Jojoba oil makes exfoliation as delicate as possible, while the acidity of the rice seeds stimulates cell renewal. I use the scrub once a week and delight myself with a radiant look and natural blush!

I have oily skin that is not afraid of deep cleansing. But most often these are professional chemical peels by specialists. At home - only gentle Uriage care. The consistency of the scrub resembles a thick cream, but with large blue abrasive particles. Uriage is a dermatological brand, therefore all products of the French brand are hypoallergenic and odorless. The scrub does not foam - which means that the surfactants in its composition are as delicate as possible and do not dry the skin. When applied, scrubbing particles are perceptible on the face, so I do not rub the product or press on the abrasives - this is more than enough for the effect! Glycerin and flower extracts are responsible for hydration, and microgranules work in tandem with Hibiscus AHA acids.

At La Roche-Posay, I love the entire series for oily skin: the wash gel helped out a lot this summer. Thermal water is included in all products of the French brand, and a scrub for sensitive skin is no exception. Outwardly, the product looks like a gel with tiny white scrubbing particles. The skin is not injured, but you should not massage the face with the gel. I apply the scrub once a week - there is no soap or alcohol in it, so the skin after leaving is soft and renewed. When I wash my face, I always feel a slight chill on my face - a very pleasant feeling!

The Korean-French cosmetic brand Erborian is a union of oriental phyto-traditions and modern technologies. I trust only the means of proven brands with natural formulations that will not irritate the skin for cleansing the skin. Facial skin peeling is a completely different story. For many beauticians, scrubs are taboo. The Erborian peeling was expected to have a dense coating, like black film masks, but no: the product is translucent with barely noticeable granules. Black Scrub is formulated with charcoal and cotton extract, both known for their mattifying properties.
I use the mask a couple of times a week only in the evening. I apply on the T-zone for three minutes, and then lightly massage the skin before rinsing. It not only exfoliates the skin, but also cleanses it of impurities, removes oily sheen and evens out the color.

The soft scrub from the series has already produced the desired effect! In addition to the meadowsweet extract, among the components there is a white mulberry, which gives the skin a healthy glow. The product looks like a cream - it contains such microscopic granules that they are practically not felt on the skin. For me, this is a pleasant find that gives results after the first use - and not every product boasts of this.
