At 23, Simone Anderson weighed 168 kilograms. She ate fast food and convenience foods. Due to her extra weight, it was difficult for her to climb or descend a flight of stairs. Her stomach was so distended that she could never get enough.

In 2014, Anderson underwent gastric bypass surgery, as a result of which the volume of her organ decreased. Later, she underwent another operation - to remove excess skin. The woman revised her eating habits and began to play sports. “The operation will not do the hard work for you, because you have to act yourself. But it gives a fresh start so that you have the opportunity to act,”she said.

As a result, the New Zealander, who is now 29 years old, has lost 92 kilograms. She eats a balanced diet and goes to daily workouts that include cardio and strength training.

For breakfast, Anderson drinks a smoothie with vegetables and eats fruit, then she snacks on fruit, nuts, or a boiled egg. Her lunch consists of fresh salad, spring rolls or corn pancakes, and for dinner she eats meat with vegetables or pasta.

“I see the process of losing weight as a journey and rejoice in every little achievement. This led me to success,”she stressed.

Earlier it was reported that a resident of the Scottish city of Leuven, who weighed 165 kilograms, lost almost two-thirds of her weight and shared the secret of losing weight. She changed her diet and began to exercise regularly.
