A cosmetic procedure that is gaining popularity in Russia, as a result of which the lips acquire a hexagonal shape, can be dangerous for allergy sufferers. Cosmetologist Elena Gont told about this to the TV channel "360".
According to her, the procedure itself is painless, poses no more danger than other procedures, and leaves no consequences. After some time, hyaluronic acid is excreted from the body, and the lips take on their usual appearance.
However, in the presence of allergies or problems with immunity, the procedure can result in the formation of scar tissue and the appearance of small scars that will remain for a lifetime.
Gont also said that not every cosmetologist would agree to do this procedure. “People who are far from medicine and aesthetics earn only money. It is their destiny to disfigure people,”said Gaunt.
Earlier in November, it became known that Russian women began to apply to cosmetology centers for an abnormal lip shape. The new shape is called "octopus lips" or "devil's lips": after a point injection with filler, their contour acquires six "corners" and becomes like an octopus.
