- Any intervention, including an aesthetic one, is done only according to indications, - says plastic surgeon Alexander Vdovin. - As for the eyelid lift, the indications for this operation to one degree or another are observed in most women over 40. It can be as slight overhang of the eyelids, or more noticeable. Much depends on the genetic predisposition, and in the case of Elena Yakovleva, of course, her profession leaves an imprint - make-up, spotlights and other components of the artist's work.
But the decision to carry out a circular tightening at the age of 40 seems premature today. There was probably no other option 20 years ago. And now we can offer patients various hardware and injection techniques that allow you to postpone a visit to a plastic surgeon and avoid such a serious and dangerous intervention as a classic circular lift.
