-I would say differently - Beauty is a great power!
-Of all branches of medicine, you have chosen cosmetology. Why? Where did you study this? How did you comprehend the "secrets", the nuances of your profession?
-In our profession, as you said, there are so many “secrets”, nuances, new methods, recommendations, scientific, foreign and domestic research that often appear that we have to learn this constantly. I attend various seminars, symposia that are held in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Novosibirsk and other cities. Most recently, I completed training in oncodermatology in Moscow at the A. S. Loginova. You can say - I study every day!
-Elena Vasilievna, who could you call your Teacher? Who has had a special influence on your professional life?
- Not only did it, but it does. This is a doctor of medical sciences, an outstanding scientist, the author of 186 scientific papers Yu. N. Koshevenko. Many of his books, monographs - "Vitiligo", "Reference book on dermatocosmetology" Yuri Nikolayevich gave me with autographs. All editions are on my desktop. They are very helpful in our practice.
Why did you choose cosmetology? Have you not noticed that when a person's appearance improves, he becomes more successful, independent, his self-esteem rises. An attractive person always disposes to himself. Career growth also depends on good looks in many professions.

When I carry out the procedure, I see the future result in the form of smoothing out wrinkles. I see beauty at the tip of the needle. Perhaps this is the secret of a good result after my procedures.
You asked about a professional approach, what a cosmetologist should know. Our clinic is a licensed institution that has passed more than one test. Before contacting us, the patient fills out a special "Information sheet". We need to know about the possibility of allergic reactions, about past illnesses, about medications taken. Only after a careful study of all the information provided by the patient, a decision is made on the provision of medical services in the clinic. The patient confirms his consent in writing.
-I won't be mistaken if I say that your job gives you both moral and professional satisfaction?
-You can't go wrong! I am proud of my patients and I believe that a good work of a cosmetologist is, in fact, invisible. That is, everyone admires the appearance of a woman, but no one would think that she was with a beautician and did some kind of procedure. This is where my patients differ.
- Are they coming back to you? If so, what is the reason?
-Yes, it happens 80 percent out of 100. I think the main reason is long-term results. We are often told: “after your procedure, my wrinkles smoothed out for 3 years”. The second reason, in my opinion, is the spiritual component. During the procedures, we communicate with patients and involuntarily become participants in their lives. People appreciate sincere feelings and support, so a cosmetologist is also a psychologist a little more. Only a person who himself has a high level of moral development has the right to give advice to people in difficult life situations. Therefore, I try to improve not only professionally, but also spiritually.
-Will you be asked about such an aesthetic operation as tightening the skin of the face?
-Yes. And quite often. The sinking of facial tissues downward under the influence of gravity is one of the most difficult problems in aesthetic medicine. In my reports, I often use the epigraph "beauty is nothing more than a successful distribution of fatty tissue." Unfortunately, I do not know the author of these lines, but they, in my opinion, have a deep meaning. The prolapse of fatty tissue is called ptosis. In the "arsenal" of the clinic there is a unique method that allows you to fight this type of aging as well. We use the "antiptosis" procedure - a method of restoring the skeletal structures of the soft tissues of the face, which prevents the tissues from dropping out for several years.
-Do you give advice on maintaining aesthetic appeal?
-Surely! Moreover, we do it for free. In accordance with the individual type of aging, we recommend correct skin care in the area around the eyes. I can also give advice through the popular newspaper KMV Express. If there is a tendency to swelling, then you can not apply a night cream during sleep. It can increase the swelling of the eyelids by "pulling" fluid from the body. And this leads to flabbiness, wrinkling of the skin. Such swelling can become permanent.
-If there are situations when you deny people medical services, for what reasons?
-Sometimes it happens. I emphasize that this only happens for aesthetic reasons, when my professional beauty standards do not correspond to the patient's idea of beauty. For example, when a 60-year-old woman asks me to add volume to already enlarged lips.

-Of course! Although today the possibilities of makeup and modern cosmetology allow women to always be beautiful. And our clinic can help with this.
