The girl burst into tears in pain, trying to remove the mask-film from her face. Her post on Twitter drew attention to the Daily Mail.
20-year-old Navy Chandler from Kansas, USA, bought a two-dollar face mask (about 125 rubles) from a local boutique and regretted it. She struggled with removing the facial skin care product for an hour, writhing in pain and videotaping the action. The footage shows how the sticky substance hardly leaves the girl's cheeks, forehead, nose and chin, which makes her cry.
In the caption to the post, Chandler advised other users never to use the specified mask. The video caused a violent reaction on the network. “She used a glue-moment”, “Now your pores should be clean for a year or two in advance,” some subscribers joked. “If my mask weren’t like this, it would have pissed me off,” “And I love it when the mask is peeled off so [hard],” other commentators admitted.
In December 2018, a South Korean cosmetics and apparel company was criticized for selling nuclear bomb masks with the face of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Despite the fact that masks have gained massive popularity on social networks, many chain stores have refused to distribute the products.
