Residents of Shchigry turned to Roman Alekhin for help. People are asked to talk about a situation they are in through no fault of their own

The organization LLC "SpetsDorStroy" and its branch "SPMK-3" made staff reductions in connection with the liquidation of the enterprise. In Shchigry alone, there are about a hundred people. We were approached by activists who said that the wage interruptions began in May. The salary was paid in cash in September and not in full, but as the minimum wage. During the summer months, money came in intermittently, wage arrears for 5 months formed. By the way, the salary of road workers in regional centers is very small, 15-18, sometimes 20 thousand rubles per season.

In October, employees of the enterprise were warned that the company was about to be liquidated, and they issued documents to the people about the layoff. After 2 months, on December 21, the Shchigrovites were unemployed. The very next day, almost all of them went to the employment exchange. Since the company did not transfer funds, the exchange does not make payments. They will begin only in April and will last 3 months, at the same time the unemployed will be offered to undergo retraining in order to try themselves in a new profession. To date, laid-off employees have not received any money. There is little work in Shchigry, and even more so for people of pre-retirement age.

“What’s there, you have a penny left to get,” they say in the accounting department. “And for us it is money, we have to take loans. We owe a hundred thousand people each and they think we will wait in silence,”the activists say.

Problems with the liquidation and bankruptcy of the Kursk road construction enterprises, according to rumors, began with the emergence and strengthening of the Terra LLC company in the region, associated with the governor Roman Starovoit. During the work of the former governor, there were no such delays in the payment of wages.
