Tinkov said in March that he was sick with acute leukemia. In July, he successfully underwent a transplant without surgery - the donor material was donated by blood transfusion.

"Plus one hundred days from the day of stem cell transplantation today. There are still important hundred days ahead, as the doctors say … Well-being is ok, but hemoglobin 80 (the norm is 130-160 grams per liter - Ed.), As the blood group changes from B - on A +, like a donor, "the entrepreneur wrote on his Instagram.

In July, Tinkov announced that he intends to create a fund to fight blood cancer and popularize donation in Russia. He noted that the fund will most likely be in the form of an endowment and will deal with fundamental problems: changing legislation in the field of transplantation, promoting stem cell donation, as well as training and internships for hematologists in developed countries.
