All-Russian competitions in underwater sports are held from 25 to 29 January in the Chelyabinsk 50-meter swimming pool "Stroitel". Juniors and juniors 14-17 years old, as well as boys and girls 12-13 years old, compete in swimming with fins, swimming in classic fins and diving. As part of the team of the Omsk region, two athletes have already become prize-winners of competitions in the youngest of these age categories.

Maria Badilova managed to climb the podium 4 times. On the first day she won 2 silver medals - at distances of 100 and 800 meters in fins. On the second day, 2 more silver medals were added to them - Maria was second in the 50-meter race with fins, as well as in the 200-meter race with fins. Artyom Kornienko won 2 more medals. He won bronze at 200 and 400 meters in classic fins.

In the capital of Udmurtia, the struggle for the prizes of the Russian championship in airgun shooting and the All-Russian competitions in airgun and small-caliber shooting among athletes under the age of 21 continues. More than 400 participants from 39 regions of the country came to Izhevsk.

On January 28, within the framework of the Russian championship, medals were played in air rifle shooting at a moving target at a distance of 10 meters. Master of Sports of Russia Yan Eydenzon, representing the Omsk region, became the best in this discipline. Our Arseny Shishigin, who won the "bronze", also visited the podium. The second place was taken by Nikita Oreshkov from the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Thus, today the team of the Omsk region has already 3 "pedestals". Recall that on January 27 Kirill Altukhov won the bronze medal in the exercise “air rifle, shooting at a moving target at a distance of 10 meters”.
