Gossip Girl actress Elizabeth Hurley has responded to criticism of her nude photos on the street. She commented on Twitter about the assumption of journalists that her 18-year-old son was filming her.
Hurley, 55, announced that the nude pictures were taken by her 80-year-old mother. In the photo, the actress appeared in white shorts and a fur coat on her naked body. The photo session took place in the snow-covered backyard of the artist's house.
“Of course, who am I to assume the tabloids have messed things up, but the photos are actually taken by my 80-year-old mother. I don’t know if that will calm you down or not,”wrote Hurley.
According to The Independent, Hurley's pictures were criticized by British TV presenter Piers Morgan, who called them frightening. The journalist suggested that the photos were taken by the actress's 18-year-old son Damien.
Elizabeth Hurley is the former lover of actor Hugh Grant. She also starred in films and TV series such as Royals, Fraudsters, Weight of Water, The Chronicle of Young Indiana Jones, Austin Powers: The International Man of Mystery and Austin Powers: The Spy Who seduced me."
