British doctors have named three skin signs that indicate coronavirus, Express reports. In particular, experts point to the appearance of a rash all over the body. It can have different manifestations. In particular, people with coronavirus have rashes that look like blisters, hives, or chickenpox. They can be itchy and last from several days to several weeks. Also, doctors identify a specific type of skin manifestation. Outwardly, it looks like frostbite and manifests itself on the arms and legs. Dermatologists note that red or purple painful bumps can form on the fingers. In this case, the top layer of the skin can flake off. A third skin symptom may appear in patients closer to recovery. These are dry and "scaly" lips that can cause soreness and small cracks. Previously, scientists have identified five types of coronavirus. They depend on the response of the immune system. In these five categories, two were severe cases of coronavirus, in the other three, the disease was mild.
