From the report of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Kursk for 2020, it follows that more than 13 kilograms of narcotic drugs were removed from the illegal circulation, which is 24.2% more than a year earlier. In total, 494 drug-related crimes were registered, 378 of which were classified as grave and especially grave.
Preventive work is also continuing. As of early January, 112 residents of Kursk with drug addiction, as well as six underage drug users and two hens who consumed toxic substances are registered.
It also became known that 58 crimes related to illegal arms trafficking were committed in 2020. At the same time, the number of crimes where weapons were used decreased from five to three. A total of 23 firearms and 32 ammunition were seized.
