A children's art school was opened in the village of Ryshkovo, Kursk region. Major repairs were made in the school building within the framework of the regional project "People's Budget". The work was carried out by the contracting organization "NEO-Design" LLC
At the school of arts, the roof and interior rooms were repaired, the heating system and electrical wiring were replaced, and the adjacent territory was equipped. The renewed cultural institution was examined by Deputy Governor Alexander Churkin. A school museum "Kukolnaya Sloboda" has been created here, where more than 500 toys of traditional crafts of Russia and abroad are collected, according to the administration of the Kursk region.
The Deputy Governor also said that soon children's art schools will receive a special status - they will be considered educational organizations of additional education for gifted children. The corresponding bill was developed by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
“Children's art schools should not turn into circles. Preserving the unique system of art education is an absolute priority for our region, as it is here that future talents are brought up,”said Alexander Churkin.
The series of major overhauls will continue next year. There are plans to repair cultural and leisure facilities in Kursk, Kastorensky, Solntsevsky, Pristensky, Medvensky, Khomutovsky districts, as well as 3 children's art schools in Belovsky, Manturovsky, Pristensky districts.
