Supermodel Alesya Kafelnikova, who was included in the list of the most promising Russians under the age of 30 by Forbes, justified herself for her candid shooting with an animal. The post appeared on her Instagram page.
This is a photo in which a 22-year-old fashion model is captured riding an elephant without clothes or underwear. Foreign conservationists from the Save the Asian Elephants organization scolded Kafelnikova's act on social networks, considering it violence against the animal.
Soon, the model removed the described photo from Instagram and posted a post with an apology. In the description for the publication, the celebrity explained to fans that she regularly does charity work and, during her last trip to Bali, financially helped the residents and animals of the village in which the photo session was held.
“I love animals, elephants and Bali! I'm sorry that many people saw a negative message in my photos, and not aesthetics. With my photographs, I wanted to show respect for the animals, I had no intention of offending local residents. Sorry if you saw something offensive in my shooting,”said Kafelnikova.
Subscribers supported the model in the comments. “Don't worry, Indonesians support and love you!”, “We all support you, only fools could see violence against animals in these photos”, “Your pictures are real art, don't worry”, “Don't pay attention to haters, you did not do anything shameful "," We adore you! " - wrote English-speaking fans.
Earlier in February, foreigners shamed Alesya Kafelnikova for riding an elephant without clothes. Animal rights activists called Kafelnikova's act a "tragedy" and criticized the girl in numerous posts on social networks. "This is violence against the animal," - wrote the users.
