She drew very well since childhood. But she wanted to be a lawyer, economist and architect. She worked as a waiter, manager and manager in a restaurant. She worked in the advertising field for several years. And then something happened … And Anastasia Kovtunova became a professional makeup artist. As often happens - by accident. Accidentally hooked on the topic. I accidentally went to try myself on the courses on make-up. And she stayed in this profession. She didn't just stay: today she is already the Champion of Siberia in makeup and the bronze medalist of the G. KOT championship. And Nastya also prepares TV presenters for the broadcast at the Novosibirsk television studio MKU and is a member of the team of Elena Korolkova (World Champion in hairdressing and make-up).

She helps many women look stylish and well-groomed. He loves what he does and generously shares with his clients "secrets" about how to be and remain beauties every day.

I asked Nastya to share them with the readers of "Arguments and Facts - Novosibirsk" and asked her a question about how an ordinary woman looks perfect at a minimum cost? How can decorative cosmetics and make-up help with this?

Anastasia Kovtunova:

- Now, by the way, there is a tendency that women use decorative cosmetics less. 8 out of 10 of my clients do very moderate makeup in everyday life, without bright shadows and lipsticks, as it was a few years ago. The content of decorative "cosmetic bags" for many women is limited to a pencil or eyebrow shadows, mascara and tonal means (although even the tone is not always).

In order to look well-groomed and beautiful without resorting to the help of a professional make-up artist, you need to remember that it is an even, beautiful and natural complexion that is the basis of a stylish image.

One of the most common questions from women: which foundation is better to buy - professional or not? I recommend using lighter textures for every day: BB or CC cream. Or choose a cream with a leaving effect. These are in the lines of many brands - for every taste and wallet.

But if you go to an event, then you can use a thicker, tonal cream. This is a great option for evening make-up and special occasions, it hides pronounced imperfections and redness very well. It is better not to use it for everyday care: it often dries out, makes the skin heavier, and interferes with air circulation.

If for some reason you don’t like the cream: it’s not comfortable, “not cozy” in it, then you can use tint powder. Today there are a lot of colors and shades - the main thing is to choose the right shade: it is perfect to get the tone.

When choosing a foundation in a store, do not apply it to your hand to determine whether it is suitable or not! This is the wrong test, and besides, the lighting in which you make your choice is very important. It is best, of course, to apply a little cream on your face, go outside (into daylight) and see how the color of the product matches the skin tone.

Many women make this mistake: they apply a care cream (for example, a moisturizer), and the tone is applied directly to it. You can't do that! The fact is that care and decorative cosmetics have different molecular structures. After applying the "care", the pores of the skin remain open. If you apply the tone directly to the "care" or go outside without a "base" - the pores will clog, they may become inflamed, and the skin will eventually look unhealthy and unkempt. That is, we will achieve the completely opposite effect than we wanted!

Therefore, it is imperative to apply a base product under makeup, which will help create an even tone and protect the skin from harmful environmental influences. There is also such a tool in every brand, the choice is huge today. It is called "Makeup Base".

To choose the base correctly, you need to take into account what effect we want to get: if the skin is overdried, choose a moisturizing base, if too oily, choose a matting one. There are “bases” that give the skin a radiant effect. Now there are already universal bases suitable for many types of skin.

It is also good for the base product to have a UV filter (SPF) to protect the skin from aggressive sun damage. If you have normal skin type, then choose a foundation with a protection level of SPF 10-15 (on sunny days - SPF 25-30). If the skin is prone to pigmentation, then buy a cream with SPF 25, and for hot sunny days - even SPF 50.

And of course, take good care of your skin: serums, oils, care creams, hydrogels - the choice is now huge, you can choose it for your skin type.

If you do your makeup yourself, be careful with contouring. Firstly, not everyone knows how to do it. Secondly, aggressive contouring is no longer in vogue; you don't need to turn your face into a Papuan mask. Be careful with highlighters too! In Europe, by the way, this is bad form. And in photographs, the highlighter can turn a face into a mask with white spots, and "take" attention to itself.

Whichever brand you prefer - expensive or budget - it is important that the product is selected in accordance with your skin type, solves exactly your tasks and “sits” comfortably on the skin.

And I very much agree with Vivien Leigh, who said that there are no ugly women - there are women who do not know that they are beautiful. You are very beautiful! Remember this always, and help your beauty to reveal itself!
